Brookstar happily trotted up the rocks, her previous swollen belly now trimmed down to half the size. She smiled greatly as her warming voice called the clan together, ''Let all the cats who can swim in the streams come before tall rock for a clan meeting.'' Once the clan had gathered, she simply called after a kit, a white calico in particular. ''Mudkit, will you step up please?''

Once the kit had come before her clan, Brookstar started with the vowing. ''Mudkit, you have grown from once a small kit into a fine Streamclan cat. Today you are old enough and ready to step up into a higher rank to start your training. Do you swear to Starclan's name that you will uphold and learn the warrior code, while train to one day defend our clan even at the cost of your own life?''

''I do.'' the kit swore.

''Then from now until you earn your warrior name you shall be known as Mudpaw. Your mentor is [comment to be Mudpaw's mentor x3]. May Starclan light your path.'' The leader gracefully bent down and licked the kit's head as a 'good luck' then whispered, ''I'm proud of you.'' with a smile, for Brookstar took over as the kit's mother almost since the leader was merely a deputy.
